It remains 27 “Nha Ruong” (Hue’s old styled houses) and gardens, 12 of which own architecturally and aesthetically special values.

Hue daily Motorbike Tour to the Traditional Villages

This Hue motorbiking tour will be focussing on traditional villages with Bao Vinh ancient town, once as the busy international trading port in the Nguyen Dynasty, Sinh Village – which is famous for its’ traditional paper paintings and Thanh Toan tile-roofed Bridge.

HUE MOTORCYCLE TOUR TO TRADITIONAL VILLAGES

Destination: Sinh paper painting village & Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed Bridge
Duration: 08 hours (8a.m – 4.pm)    
Distance: approximately 40 km

Our motorbike tour will be started from Hue by riding along the floating village on the Perfume River to Bao Vinh ancient town, once as the busy international trading port in the Nguyen Dynasty. Passing the Hue’s China Town then across the Bao Vinh River – a branch of the Perfume River to Sinh Village – which is famous for its’ traditional paper paintings, you will meet the artists of the village before learning how to make the painting from the traditional materials. The products made under the guidance of the artists will be yours as souvenir. Try your best to make them nice!

A short talking with the villagers at Thanh Tien, who specialized in making paper flower, will show you why the Hue people still decorate their ancestral altars with paper flowers during the TET Holiday.

Keep riding on the green shaded roads to Thanh Toan tile-roofed Bridge with some stops at street markets for experiencing the local life. On arrival, enjoy the local lunch served by the women from Communal Women Union in the village. Afterward, a lesson of learning the agricultural skills and tools (ploughs, sickles, hoes, rice-hulling mills,hue motorcycle travel packages etc) performed by the 80-year-old lady (2011) brings to you an unique lesson in Vietnam. Walk around the village to see the daily life of the kind-hearted people.

Return the city within contemplating the Sunset in the paddy field. End the trip at your hotel.

DAY 1: HUE MOTORBIKE TOUR TO BA HOM

Day one of your Hoi an Motorbike adventures tour starts with a drive from Hue into the A Shau Valley, ascending first through hills and then down into this lush, peaceful area that was the scene of many infamous battles during the American war. We reach a mountain waterfall at midday and stop for lunch and a chance to swim in the cool waters. The afternoon continues with a drive along the Ho Chi Minh Highway, climbing more mountain passes and winding along roads surrounded by rainforests. Amid this stunning scenery is Ba Hom, a remote mountain village where we will spend the evening. The hospitable Co Tu people welcome us into their homes, sharing their unique customs and way of life with us as we dine on traditional local specialties.

DAY 2: BA HOM MOTORBIKE TOUR TO HOI AN

After a good night’s sleep in stilted houses we wake to the sounds of village life. Fuel up with breakfast and then set off on a light trek along the original Ho Chi Minh Trail to a set of therapeutic hot springs. Take a swim or just enjoy the beautiful setting before returning to the village and hitting the road to Hoi An. Winding our way down to the coast, we’ll stop en route at famous American war sites and ancient Cham towersMotorbike tour to Hue before reaching Hoi An just in time for sunset.
